Welcome to this years German Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction

Like so many other things these days, everything is a little different at this year's German Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction. The corona pandemic has impressively demonstrated the importance of Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) and thus the need for exchange between national and international DRR actors. The current level of attention offers a window of opportunity to emphasize the importance of DRR and its comprehensive implementation. This year's conference is a great opportunity for all of us to contribute to this process.

Although the main conference language will be German, some of the livestreams, video sessions and panels will be in English and may be of interests to international participants. At the conference you can also enjoy a live graphic recording or get in contact with other participants via chats or an interactive listing of participants. Despite the current limitations we would like to make the conference an exciting and interactive event dedicated to national and international DRR issues.
